Last week Perth hosted the Comm-IT Conference. It focused on communications and IT, specifically on e-Business, Security, WiFi, RFID, VOIP and Open Source. I was lucky enough to be a speaker (see the last post), and presented a talk by Simon Phipps, Sun’s Chief Technology Evangelist. Waves of Change, Rivers of Freedom.
It was great fun preparing for the presentation, mainly because it focused on my favourite topic, how the world is changing because of mass connectivity.
Luckily my presentation was taped by a clever crew from Media Farm who have a great solution for anyone interested in streaming video to the internet.
