Abode Exhaustion.

July 27, 2003

Well, the move to the new abode has really encouraged a new lifestyle. If you’re wondering what I have been doing these past few weeks that means I haven’t been blogging, it has probably something to do with the new house, or the fact that I’ve exhausted myself by doing something with the new house and don’t have the energy to jump online. The other contributing factor may have a lot to do with only having dialup access (it sucks).

Last weekend I spent the days working on my front yard with friends. It was totally overgrown with Australian native plants and weeds. I thought it wasn’t a big job until halfway through. Next on the project plan is putting up a picket fence and plant a lawn.

Just to make sure this post isn’t totally lacking in tech, if you’re interested in the Perth Wildcats (the local Australian National Basketball League team), then I’ve created a iCal file. Check it out at iCalShare.

419 Blogger.

July 14, 2003

It would seem that 419 scammers have resorted to posting comments to blogs as well as email. Over at my Open Spectrum blog you’ll find the comment I received on Saturday.

So there you have it, blogs are very useful communication tools. :)
As a matter of interest, they found my site by searching Google for email address of farmers of india.

Warm And Cosy.

July 10, 2003

If anyone has been wondering why posts have tapered in the last week or so, it’s because Kilee and I have finally moved to out new house. I spend all of Tuesday with the removalists shifting boxes and watching them lug three seat sofas and 68 cm TVs down two flights of stairs. The remainder of the week will be spent unpacking.

Unfortunately when I moved I also left behind my wireless internet access, so I’m netless at the moment. I hope to sort out a dial-up account in the next couple of days, and in the near future setup a new wireless network to the house. In the mean time, expect sporadic posting.
